Snake Avoidance Course

The Colorado Gun Dog Association’s Snake Avoidance Course will be held June 5th, 2021 The location will be on Hess Road just west of Heirloom Parkway.  The entrance will be well marked.  The training course will start at 8:00 am and continue until 4 p.m.  You may arrive any time within this window, after noon things usually go more efficiently with less wait. The course takes about 10 minutes so the line should go right along.  We highly recommend that you pre-register, this will make the process easier for everyone.  Your registration form and payment qualify you for entrance to

Nov. 2020 Club Update

A quick run-down of club happenings : Specialty Show: We’ve requested the AKC move our 2021 specialty show date back to the original weekend which is Sept. 11, 2021 in conjunction with the Evergreen Kennel Club. Hunt Test: The club enjoyed another successful hunt test in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Vizsla Club. Many thanks to all club members who volunteered and ran their dogs. WCA Ratings Test June 14th + Practice day June 13th

Dear MHWC and WCA Members, The Mile High Weimaraner Club is holding W.C.A. Ratings test Sunday, June 14th at Cobb Lake Unit, Wellington State Wildlife Area. Entries are limited and close at 5 p.m. ET, Wednesday, June 11, 2020. Running order will be available on MHWC.org and the Mile High Weimaraner Club Facebook page by Thursday evening. Things to remember: It will be hot. Please plan accordingly to have a safe place for your dogs. Bring your own water, ice, drinks and food.
