FUND-RAISER: Weim and Cheese - Saturday November 8th
Saturday November 8, 2008 6:00 PM will be our third annual Weim and Cheese event. It will be held at the
Bonacquisti Wine Company
in Denver
Join us for the 3rd Annual Mile High Weimaraner Rescue Weim & Cheese! This gala event will raise funds
to benefit the Weimaraner Foundation Fund. We'll have wine, heavy hors de oeuvres, desserts, an open bar, and a
silent auction with over 80 items! Some of this years items include a 6 day, 6 night South African
Safari for 2 people - includes lodging and meals and guided tours; autographed photos by sports greats like Carmelo Anthony,
Joe Sakic, the 1980 USA Hockey team and more. There will be music and guest speakers for entertainment
for the evening. We will also be having a raffle. This is a great event to help support Weims in need as well as offering dog lovers a way
to shop for the holidays.

What are Our Club Meetings?
The Mile High Weimaraner Club meetings happen about nine times a year. Club members meet to discuss
upcoming events, Weim related items, and are great ways to meet fellow Weim owners. We welcome people
who are interested in finding out more about the club to join us during the pre-meeting social time.
Joining the club is a great way to meet people who share your love for the breed as well as making
a difference for the breed.

What is the difference between a Field Trial and a Hunt Test?
The main difference is that in hunt tests, dogs are judged against a standard. This allows for every dog
the ability to pass their particular level. Hunt tests are also exclusively done on foot.
Field trail participants are judged against other dogs as well as against the standard. The best at
completing the standard when compared to the other participants may be put up for the ribbons. Field
trials can be participated on horse as well as by foot or just by foot when this is designated.
